Essay
Topic : Some people say History is one of the most important school subjects.
Other people think that, in today’s world, subjects like Science and Technology are more important than History.
People keep debating which matters more in education: History, or Science and Technology. Sure, History gives us a lot to learn from the past, but honestly, I think Science and Technology matter more for the future.
Let’s face it—Science and Technology drive modern life. They spark the inventions that make our lives better and help us tackle big problems. Take clean energy, for example. Thanks to progress in science, we’ve got solar and wind power now. These aren’t just cool gadgets; they’re real steps toward a more sustainable world. They show we can act as true stewards of the planet, not just users. When we use science wisely, we can push forward without trashing the environment.
Still, I’m not saying History doesn’t matter. We need to know what went wrong before—like how overusing natural resources hurt past societies. That kind of knowledge keeps us from repeating old mistakes. It also nudges us to make smarter, more ethical choices as we build new technologies.
Bottom line: History teaches us lessons we shouldn’t ignore, especially about ethics and the environment. But Science and Technology are what move us forward and help us build a future that’s both advanced and responsible.
